Payback follows the story of Jonathan on his birthday. Without being aware of his actions and surroundings he gets abducted by an unknown cartel group that will show him everything he took for granted and won't be able to get back. The moment of truth comes when the cartel group pushes Jonathan from a rooftop into a pool revealing it was all a surprise birthday party that becomes Jonathan's second chance to redeem himself.
